Examination Pattern for FMS Entrance Test

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), which is a constituent venture of Delhi University, conducts every year an entrance test for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes for full time and part time duration along with Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management programme. The entrance test is known as the FMS Entrance Test or Faculty of Management Studies Entrance Test. However, the final selection of the candidates to these courses is also depended upon their performances in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The test pattern of FMS Entrance Test is designed as such to examine the management skills of the candidates.

FMS Test Pattern
The question paper format for FMS Entrance Test is given in the following lines:

  • FMS Entrance Test consists of multiple-choice type questions in which the candidate has to choose the correct answer out of given four options.
  • All the questions are expected to be answered by the candidates within two-hour duration.
  • The questions in FMS Entrance Test are based on these topics:
    1. Quantitative Ability
    2. English Comprehension
    3. Verbal Ability
    4. Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning
  • There is no provision of negative marking in the FMS Entrance Test.

Group Discussion & Personal Interview
The successful candidates of the FMS Entrance Test have to appear for group discussion and personal interview to finalize their selection for the management programmes of the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University
