Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science is located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It came into existence in the year 1952 and University Grants Commission (UGC) has declared it as an autonomous institution. The engineering institute has acquired approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Shri GS Institute of Technology & Science Indore conducts engineering courses at the undergraduate i.e. Bachelor of Engineering (BE), a four-year full time programme.

At the postgraduate level, Shri GS Institute of Technology & Science Indore conducts Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Science (M Sc), Master of Pharmacy (M Pharm) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The engineering institute also imparts research study through its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme. All the courses of the institute have been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Eligibility Criteria

For the UG level courses, the candidates have to pass Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) level of examination in science stream, from any recognized state/national Board.
For the PG level courses, aspirants need to have cleared three-year of bachelor’s level examination in relevant stream, which should be recognized by any statutory University.
For the PhD course, one requires master’s degree in related discipline recognized by any University.

Admission Criteria

The admission of the candidates to the undergraduate level programmes of Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology & Science Indore is done on the basis of Pre Engineering Test (PET), which is conducted by the Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal (VYAPAM), Bhopal.
Admissions for the postgraduate and research level programmes are decided after examining candidates’ ranks in GATE entrance test and performances in the qualifying examination.
