Veterinary Council of India to conduct AIPVT 2012 on May 12

Veterinary Council of India (VCI), a statutory body of Government of India, will conduct its All India Pre Veterinary Test i.e. AIPVT on May 12, 2012. The candidates, who have the passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, can apply for this entrance test.

VCI conducts All India Pre Veterinary Test every year to admit students to its undergraduate level programme in veterinary sciences - Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH). It is a five-year full time programme.

Candidates can download the application form for AIPVT 2012 by logging on to the official website of the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). Alternatively, they can also get information bulletin and application form by hand from the office of the Registrars of State Veterinary Councils on payment of Rs 1200 for General Category /OBC and Rs.600/- for SC/ST category through a DD drawn in favour of "Veterinary Council of India- Examination Fund" payable at New Delhi.

Interested candidates have to submit the application form on or before February 15, 2012.
