Common Admission Test for PG Courses Admissions 2013 in West Bengal

The Higher Education Council, a constituent part of the State Government of West Bengal, has decided to conduct Common Admission Test (CAT) for all the post graduate courses, to the upcoming session of 2013. These courses are conducted by the various colleges and universities in the state.

According to the proposal of the Council, all the universities in the state would be conducting exams for undergraduate part three between March 15 and May 15, 2013. On the other hand, the common admission test for postgraduate level courses would be organized in the month of June 2013.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) will be conducted under the administration of Higher Education Council, West Bengal and all state universities and government aided colleges will have to use the CAT scores of the candidates as the criteria for admission in the master’s level courses.
