IIT JEE 2012 To Be Held on April 8

Indian Institutes of Technology, which are popularly known as IITs, will conduct Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) on April 8, 2012. It is an all India level entrance test, which is conducted at various test centres across the country. The students, who are seeking their admission in undergraduate level engineering programmes (BE / B Tech) of these institutes, have to appear for IIT JEE 2012.
To apply for IIT Joint Entrance Examination, the aspirants have to pass Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) level of examination with not less than 60% marks in aggregate, from any recognized Board.
IIT JEE 2012 will consist of two papers with each of three hours duration. Both the papers will be comprised of objective type questions, which will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The syllabus for IIT JEE 2012 will be available in the official websites of all the IITs.
The applications for IIT JEE 2012 will start from October 30, 2011. However, the aspirants must submit the duly completed application form on or before December 12, 2011.
The Indian Institutes of Technology includes Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Bombay, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Mandi, Patna, Rajasthan, Roorkee, Ropar and IT-BHU Varanasi and ISM Dhanbad.
