It was established in 1987 under the management of Maharashtra Academy of Engineering & Education Research (MAEER), Pune, which is a registered Society. The business school has received approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Government of India. MIT School of Business Pune imparts management study at the postgraduate diploma level i.e. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). It is a two-year full time programme, which is conducted at various streams of business studies.
