JG College of Education

J.G. College of Education is situated at the Sirsa district of Haryana. The management of the college is completely administered by Shri Saraswati Education Society. The educational institute has received affiliation from Kurukshetra University, which is located in Kurukshetra (Haryana). JG College of Education Sirsa is duly approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

JG College of Education Sirsa conducts undergraduate degree and diploma level teacher training programmes in the form of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Education (D.Ed), respectively. The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Haryana, has given recognition to the diploma programme of the college. JG College of Education Sirsa Haryana provides various modern facilities for the all round development of its students.

Eligibility

Candidates, who are applying for D.Ed course, have to pass 10+2 level of examination in any stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from any recognized Board. While for the B.Ed programme, aspirants should have passed bachelor’s level of examination in any stream with securing not less than 50% marks.

Admission

The University conducts entrance test for the admission of the candidates to college’s B.Ed programme. On the other hand, aspirants are selected for D.Ed course on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination.
