Shivalik College of Education is located at Ambala district of Haryana. It came into existence in the year 2007 and since then it has been one of the premier teaching institutes in the state. The management of the college is run by Gauri Shankar Educational Trust. Shivalik College of Education Ambala has received affiliation from the prestigious Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

Shivalik College of Education Ambala is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It imparts undergraduate degree and diploma level teacher training programmes i.e. Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Diploma in Education (D. Ed). The diploma programme is recognized by State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Haryana. Shivalik College of Education Ambala Haryana boasts of multiple modern facilities within its sprawling campus.

Eligibility
For the B.Ed programme, one has to pass three-year of bachelor’s level examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate in any discipline.
For the D.Ed programme, candidates need to have cleared Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission
Candidates, who are seeking their admission to B.Ed programme, need to appear in an entrance test conducted by the University. While for the D.Ed programme, candidates are selected on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination.
