SRM University Starts Admissions to its B.Tech and M.Tech Courses 2016

The admissions for Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) of SRM University, Chennai, have started now for the academic session of 2016.

The last date to apply for these undergraduate and postgraduate technical programmes is March 15, 2016.

The University has set certain eligibility pre-requisites for these courses such as candidates applying for B.Tech course have to pass 10+2 examination from a recognized Board or institute while on the other hand, the candidates must have cleared Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) examination from a statutory University with the purpose of enrolling themselves to M.Tech programme.

The selection of the candidates to these technical courses will be done on the basis of the entrance tests - SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) for B.Tech programme and SRM Graduate Engineering Entrance Test (SRMGEET) for M.Tech course. For the post graduate programme, those aspirants who have valid GATE score can also seek their admission.

The exam dates of SRMJEE will be April 19 to April 25, 2016 while April 23 and April 24, 2016 are for SRMGEET.

How the candidates can apply for the entrance tests of these courses? They can apply through online approach for which they have to go through the official website of the University - www.srmuniv.ac.in.
