University of Ahmedabad Starts Admissions for MBA Programme 2016

Ahmedabad University, Gujarat, has started its admission procedure for a post graduate course in management field - Master of Business Administration (MBA) for the year 2016. The interested candidates can apply for this course only after fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University. They will be enrolled to this two-year programme through a significant selection process.

The course of MBA will comprise the study of various aspects of management such as operations management, information systems, human resource management, marketing and finance.


Eligibility Criteria for Ahmedabad University's MBA Course 2016

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme of the University of Ahmedabad is applicable for those candidates who have passed their Bachelor's degree examination with minimum 50 % marks from a recognized University. The SC/ST Candidates must have secured minimum 45% marks in such qualifying examination. Apart from that, they should have appeared for either Common Admission Test (CAT) 2015 organized by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) or Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2016 conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Admission Criteria for Ahmedabad's University MBA Programme 2016

Once the candidates complete all such eligibility criteria, they have to appear for an entrance test conducted by the University, which is followed by group discussion and personal interview. However, the final merit of the candidates will be finalized on the basis of their performances in the entrance test, group discussion, personal interview, work experience and academic performance.

Application Procedure for Two-Year MBA Programme 2016 of Ahmedabad University

The candidates can apply either offline or online mode of application for applying to MBA Course of Ahmedabad University for the session of 2016-2018. They have to submit the application form along with the payment of the application fee of Rs. 1000 through cash or demand draft in favour of 'Ahmedabad University', payable at Ahmedabad.
