Pondicherry University Announces Admission to its Post Graduate Courses 2016-17

Pondicherry University, located in Puducherry, has released the admission dates of its post graduate courses for the session of 2016-17. These courses are belonged to various streams and the aspirants are only selected through a certain admission criteria. The right of selecting the candidates will be owned by the University and the candidates are required to follow all the rules and regulations, which are prescribed by Puducherry University. 

The University is one of the most renowned educational institutes in the country and it has been awarded as a ‘Central University’ accredited with “A” Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It has also been recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India.

  • Master of Arts (MA)
  • Master of Science (M. Sc)
  • Master of Commerce (M.Com) in Accounting, Business Finance and Finance 
  • MA/M. Sc Integrated Program
  • Master of Technology (M. Tech)
  • Master of Business Admission (MBA)
  • Master of Computer Application (MCA) 
  • Master of Laws (LLM)
  • Master of Education (M. Ed)
  • Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed)
  • Master of Social Work (MSW)
  • Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS)

Admission Criteria 

Only those candidates can apply for these aforementioned courses, who have completed three-year bachelor's examination in respective field, from any recognized University. Further, the selection of the candidates to these post graduate courses will be done on basis of an entrance examination, which is conducted by Pondicherry University at designated centres within different states of India. It will be an Online based Entrance test.

Application Procedure

The application form to apply for these courses is available on the official website of the University - http://www.pondiuni.edu.in/. The candidates have to complete the application form with mandatory details and submit it alongside fee of Rs. 250 either through online or offline approach. However, the SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 125 to apply for these while the differently abled candidates can apply without any fees. A candidate can only apply for a single course and for different courses; they have to apply separately by following this procedure.
