United College of Engineering & Research is located in the Greater Noida district of Uttar Pradesh. It was established in the year of 2005 under the management of the United Group, which was founded by late Shri Shiv Ram Das Gulati in 1951. The engineering institute works with the aim of providing quality education in the field of engineering study.

United College of Engineering & Research Greater Noida imparts undergraduate level programme in the field of engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B Tech), which is a four-year full-time programme. The institute also conducts postgraduate level courses in the field management (Master of Business Administration) and computer application (Master of Computer Applications).

United College of Engineering & Research offers all undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes under the affiliation of Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), which is now known as Gautam Buddha Technical University (GBTU). Bachelor of Technology (B Tech)

United College of Engineering & Research Greater Noida offers an undergraduate-level programme in the field of engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B Tech). The institute conducts this programme for the four-year full-time duration, which also includes an internship.

The institute conducts this B Tech programme in these specializations of engineering study:

• Computer Science
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Information Technology
• Electrical and Nuclear Engineering

The candidates need to have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) with science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (Botany or Zoology), from any recognized state/national Board. The qualifying examination should have passed by them with not less than 50% marks in aggregate in these subjects. The final year appearing students are also eligible to apply for this UG level programme.

The admission of the aspirants to the Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) programme is decided on the basis of their ranks in Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Examination (UPSEE), which is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). However, candidates who have valid All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) scores are also given preference for their selection to this programme.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The management study is also conducted by the United College of Engineering & Research Greater Noida in the form of Master of Business Administration (MBA). It is a two-year full-time programme, which is conducted in wide areas of business study. The institute conducts this programme with an objective of making young aspirants leading business professionals in their future.

The post-graduate level programme is conducted by the institute under the affiliation of Gautam Buddha Technical University (GBTU) and as per the approval guidelines of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India.

The aspirants, who are seeking their admission to this postgraduate programme - MBA, should have cleared three years’ of bachelor’s level examination in any discipline, from any recognized University. The under graduation programme should have passed by them with scoring not less than 50% marks in aggregate. Final year appearing students can also apply for this programme.

The institute conducts admission to this post-graduate level programme on the basis of Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Examination (UPSEE), which is conducted under the administration of Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). Nonetheless, those candidates, who have successfully cleared the Common Admission Test (CAT) / Management Aptitude Test (MAT), are also admitted to this postgraduate level programme. Final selection will also be decided as per the candidates’ performance in group discussion and personal interview.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

United College of Engineering & Research Greater Noida conducts another postgraduate programme but in the field of computer applications, which is called as Master of Computer Applications (MCA). The post-graduate programme of the institute has received affiliation from Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) and has the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India.

To be eligible for this programme, one has to pass three years of bachelor’s level examination in the form of Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), from any recognized Indian or International University. In addition, the aspirants should have studied Mathematics as one of the main subjects at the 10+2 level. The final year appearing students or result awaited students are also eligible to apply for this programme.

Admissions of the candidates to this post-graduate level programme are done on the basis of Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Examination (UPSEE), which is administered under the administration of Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU).
