University of Patanjali Haridwar

As a new phenomenon into the study of yoga sciences, University of Patanjali was opened in the year 2007 to achieve the purpose of establishing a divine concoction of 'Yoga and Ayurveda' and to make it a significant factor into the welfare of the world of 21st century.

The University has set its educational goals to develop new dimensions to the philosophy of Yoga and Ayurveda. The courses are offered here for not just of educational purposes, but also for the spiritual, scientific, social and practical development of the students.

Courses and Admission Procedure

The University of Patanjali Haridwar offers following courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level:

UNDERGRADUATE COURSE

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Yoga Science
Subjects: Yoga Science (Theory & Practical), Cultural Tourism, Psychology (Theory & Practical), Philosophy & Sanskrit.
Duration: 3 Years
Eligibility Criteria: The Candidate, who has cleared 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks from a recognized board, can apply for this course.
Admission Criteria: The candidates are selected on the basis of their marks at 12th level and interview.

POSTGRADUATE COURSES

Master of Arts (M.A.)
Subjects: Yoga Science
Duration: 2 Years
Eligibility Criteria: The students, who have passed their Bachelor Degree Examination with at least 45% marks from a recognized university, can seek admission to this programme.
Admission Criteria: The admissions are done on the basis of merit and interview.

Master of Science (M.Sc.)
Subjects: Yog Science
Duration: 2 Years
Eligibility Criteria: A Bachelor Degree in Science with at least 45% marks from a recognized University is required to apply for admission in this course.
Admission Criteria: The University accepts the admission of the candidates on the basis of merit followed by an interview.

POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSES 

Subject: Panchkarma
Duration: 1 Year
Eligibility Criteria: The candidates, who are seeking their admission in this PG Diploma course, have to pass their Bachelor Degree in Ayurveda Medical Science with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University.
Admission Criteria: The admission of the candidates depends upon their marks in the qualifying examination and their performance in the interview.

Subject: Yoga Science
Duration: 1 Year
Eligibility Criteria: Before enrolling for this course, you must have passed Bachelor Degree with minimum 45% marks from a recognized University.
Admission Criteria: Admission of the candidates is done on the basis of merit and interview.

Subject: Yoga Health and Cultural Tourism
Duration: 1 Year
Eligibility Criteria: The student should have cleared a Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University.
Admission Criteria: Your selection for this PG Diploma course will be done on the basis of merit and interview.
